Session Information:
The NIC Interview Examination Rubric discussion session will be the first session of VRID District One’s newly established discussion session series. The Code of Professional Conduct will be the key concept discussed during the session. This session is for members to discuss ethical scenarios in the suggested format from RID. The NIC Interview Rubric will guide the practice scenarios. Discussion will include an overview of the Code of Professional Conduct, an Overview of NIC Interview Examination Rubric Anchors, and a discussion of three interpreter scenarios from the book Encounters with Reality.
Target Audience:
Sign Language Interpreters; Novice to Advanced.
CEUs:
VRID is an approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This program
is offered for .2 CEUs in the content area of professional studies and is at the beginning to
intermediate knowledge level. No partial CEUs will be awarded. Late arrivals will not get CEUs.
