Session Information:
In this hands-on workshop, participants will develop an understanding of the needs of young consumers and lay a foundation for the skills, vocabulary, and attitudes needed to serve children in a variety of interpreting settings. There are very few resources available in the field of interpreting on this subject, and much of what is available focuses exclusively on educational settings. This workshop focuses on the broad range of settings where interpreters work with children.
