Workshop Description:

During this workshop, participants will examine the importance of matching their interpreting to the needs of the student in the educational setting.  Participants will learn what effective expansion and truncating looks like.  Participants will learn techniques that will improve their interpreting both inside and outside the classroom, some of which may be deemed unconventional.  They will also evaluate the techniques that are the most effective in a variety of learning environments.  Participants will also practice the discussed techniques and how to apply them in their daily work.
